iOS will say the profile is Unverified. That is normal for a self-hosted profile — it only means the file isn't signed by a certificate authority. Install it from Settings → Profile Downloaded.

🩺 Trouble?

Nothing connectsSome networks (offices, hotels, a few home ISPs) block mail ports. Try cellular with Wi-Fi off — if it works there, the network is the problem.
Password rejectedThe username must be the whole address, not just the part before the @.
Receives but won't sendSMTP authentication is switched off in your client. Turn it on and reuse the same credentials.
